The central square is occupied by a large medieval bathtub, where water flows from the thermal spring and fumigates slowly, creating a fairytale atmosphere that has amazed travelers of all time. The tub overlooks the Renaissance buildings and the beautiful loggia of Santa Caterina da Siena, which give the square a great elegance.
The waters go to the nearby cliff, which retains old underground mills with their storage tanks (the former free spas), while other waters feed the thermal establishments born in the small village. Everything is immersed in a picturesque landscape, where you can take a stroll along marked trails.
